A weekend of success

28 teams started under sunny blue skies early on Saturday morning and made their way along the shores of Loch Ness. All teams completed the 36 mile off road course and were then faced with challenging conditions as they canoed north along the canal arriving at Loch Oich for the finish of Day 1.

A good rest at the overnight camp along with a hot meal and massage to ease some of the aches and pains was very much appreciated before another early start at the foot of Ben Nevis on the Sunday. The weather and visibility was in our favour and with a great deal of teamwork and commitment, especially on the arduous zigzags to the summit, all teams made it to the finish having climbed the highest mountain in the UK.

All teams completed the race then made their way back to Inverness to celebrate a tremendous weekend and team effort.
